The Christy Family Award

For outstanding Venturing contributions in a substantial way to the Venturing program in Eagle Bay District. This award is usually directed towards a Unit Level Leader who is committed and lives by the Scout Oath and Laws. Only one award is given annually.

William Colyer Award

For outstanding Scouting contributions in a substantial way to the Boy Scouting program in Eagle Bay District. This award is usually directed towards a Unit Level Leader who is committed and lives by the Scout Oath and Laws. Only one award is given annually. 

Ralph Tipple Award

For outstanding Scouting contributions in a substantial way to the Cub Scouting program in Eagle Bay District. This award is usually directed towards a Pack Level Leader who is committed and lives by the Cub Scout Promise and the Law of the Pack. Only one award is given annually.

Thomas Biro Award

For outstanding service that goes above and beyond the Pack or Troop level for their work activities behind the scenes. Anyone in the District is eligible. Only one award is given annually.

Fran Dietze Recognition Award

In recognition of their devoted service to a Troop, a Pack or Venturing Crew, this award is for a Scouters involvement in a Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing programs. One or two awards are given annually for each program.

Rookie of the Year Award

For a Cub Scout Leader, a Boy Scout Leader and a Venturing Advisor for their outstanding service in their "Rookie" year in any leadership position. One each is awarded annually.  

Eagle Bay Appreciation Award

Each unit is eligible to nominate one Scouter for their particular unit.  The unit committee should pick their nomination. Remember the unit committee should only pick one. The District will not award any for those units not turning in a form. Every unit turning in a nomination will be given their award. 

Additional Awards

District Award of Merit:  Use the District Award of Merit Nomination Form. Mail to the address above.  Due March 15th

Veteran Scouters Award: Use the Veterans Application. Starts at five years of service and continue at intervals of five years. These applications should be submitted to our District Executive Glenda Bowman for approval.  Due by March 15th

Silver Beaver Award: Applications should be written on the Silver Beaver Award form and forwarded to the Erie Shores Council office no later than March 30th
